Are You Struggling?
Maybe life just feels like too much right now.
What This Can Feel Like
Separation, relationship change, prolonged stress and other challenging periods can put pressure on almost every part of your life.
You might be trying to navigate parenting or co-parenting, work, finances, difficult relationships, loneliness, changes to everyday life and uncertainty about what comes next — while still trying to keep everything else going.
On the outside, you may still be functioning. Going to work. Looking after your kids. Sorting out the practical stuff.
But underneath it all, you might feel exhausted, overwhelmed, constantly on edge, unable to switch off, or simply not like yourself anymore.
You might recognise some of this:
Feeling like you’re always “on”
Constantly thinking, worrying or problem-solving
Feeling exhausted or running on empty
Becoming more irritable or reactive
Losing motivation, confidence or enjoyment
Withdrawing from people or things you normally enjoy
Struggling with routines or looking after yourself
Trying to stay strong for your children while struggling yourself
Sometimes there isn’t one single problem.
It’s the accumulation of everything.
You don’t have to wait until everything falls apart before asking for some support.
Getting Steady Again
When life feels overwhelming, the answer isn’t always to push harder or somehow become better at
coping.
Sometimes it starts with slowing things down, understanding what’s putting you under pressure — and
identifying practical things that can help.
There are many simple tools and approaches that can support us when we’re stressed, overwhelmed or
running on empty.
Depending on what’s happening for you, we might explore:
practical ways to calm and regulate your stress response
creating more space for genuine rest and recovery
rebuilding routines that support your wellbeing
movement, time outside and connection with others
creating boundaries around the things that are draining you
reducing mental load and creating more breathing room
focusing your energy on what you can control
practical ways to slow things down when your mind or body feels constantly “on”
reconnecting with things that give you energy, meaning and enjoyment
There’s no single approach that works for everyone.
Part of our work can be understanding what’s happening for you, identifying what might help, trying practical approaches, and building the ones that work into your everyday life.
Getting steady doesn’t mean having everything figured out or never feeling stressed.
It means understanding yourself better, having practical tools you can draw on, and feeling more able to respond to what life throws at you.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
You might be newly separated, several years down the track, considering separation, navigating relationship change, or simply struggling with the pressure that has built up around fatherhood, stress or major life change.
You don’t need to come to coaching knowing exactly what the problem is or what you need to do about it.
We can start with where you are now.
My coaching is practical, grounded and non-judgemental. Together, we can make sense of what you’re carrying, identify what might help, and work towards feeling steadier, more connected and clearer about what comes next.
We can talk about what’s happening for you and whether coaching feels like the right kind of support.
Coaching is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy or medical care. If your needs sit outside the scope of coaching, I’ll encourage you to seek appropriate professional support.
